Endoparasitic is a premium action title for PC by developer Narayan Walters. It's a 2D top-down survival horror game set in a mysterious research facility hit with a deadly parasite. Dismembered and grasping for his life, a researcher will do what it takes to save his research data.

Similar to Imscared, Endoparasitic goes for a pixelated minimalist approach to its art style and game design. Players will have to navigate dimly-lit environments with limited visibility to complete their objectives and avoid threats as much as they can. They will also engage in some stealth and puzzle-solving throughout.

In Endoparasitic, you are a researcher working at a mysterious research facility on a remote asteroid hit with a deadly parasite. You are savagely attacked by the infected, ripping out three of your limbs and leaving you for dead. Desperate to save your research data, you begin crawling your way to salvage what you can before the parasite reaches your brain, and you are gone for good.

Played from a top-down perspective, you will crawl through dark corridors with limited visibility. There are some humans that have turned into horrific mutated monsters at every turn waiting to attack. There are four guns for you to find, but you can only shoot one bullet at a time. Also, given your unique condition, you can only do one action at a time—you can't move while shooting.

You'll also encounter some situations wherein stealth and solving puzzles are required. It's up to you to strategize how best to tackle a room full of monsters and overcome certain problems to proceed. Now, these types of games are usually quite challenging, but the difficulty on this jumps quite high toward the end of your gameplay. Speaking of, the total runtime is short at just a couple of hours.

All in all, Endoparasitic offers a distinct experience that combines high-stakes gameplay with minimalistic styling. From the unique premise to the combat, and the intriguing story, there is a lot to like about this game.
